HP StorageWorks D2600 is a Storage Enclosure. It can connect to a HP storage or to a server equipped a SAS controller with an external connection . The unit has 12 bays for 3.5 "hard drives, 2 x 6Gb SAS controllers and two 460W power supplies.

The HP 3.5 "G7 Caddy is required to install hard drives in this system.

Examples of controllers that can be used with this Enclosure: HP P222, HP H222, HP P822, Dell H800, Dell H200e.

An External SAS cable is required to make the connection between the storage or controller.

Note: The product does not include rack, caddy and HDD. They are ordered separately.
